This game oddly enough wasnt my first choice of games that came with ps2 demo cd. But its main character’s English name, Ari, was the same as my dad’s nickname, so it caught my attention and we got the game. Now coming up 24 years later, I’m making my own fan sequel as a love letter to this series. Sekimoto’s unique artwork and the love letter style parody to RPGs story line is something I wish people to see more. I do agree the gameplay can be janky, defiantly a product of its time, but the art, characters and story makes up for it.
