Lose Your Marbles had the boldest advertising line of all time: "Better than Tetris or your money back!" A total lie if I've ever seen one, yet I can't imagine anyone returning such a cool game just for that.
Why Sega never released it for Saturn, Dreamcast etc. is beyond me. You make combos by grouping identical marbles on the center line and through this you send marbles to the opponent's side, increasing his stack and decreasing his available space until he can't do anything else. Much cooler than Baku Baku, in my opinion. And Lose Your Marbles had a whole "elementary school playtime vibe" that I've never found in any other game.
I only had the demo of Lose Your Marbles. It was included in one of those CD-magazines you bought from newsstands (they always came with a lot of random stuff, it was magical). I didn't even have a PC in those days, I played in the office during my lunch breaks (hidden from the manager, of course). Never got very far because the demo was very limited in content (and my lunch break time was short) so I always wanted the full version but never found it after I managed to realize my dream of buying my first PC in 2000. But by then I'd lost that CD and didn't even have the demo anymore... So come on GOG, help an old gamer relive his good old days and publish Lose Your Marbles!
