by International Computer Entertainment
Genres:Platform, Shooter, Arcade
Themes:Action, Warfare
Game modes:Single player
Story:In Fire Force, you kit yourself out with a military alter-ego, beginning with the rank of Ensign, and progressing through 12 increasingly difficult (and violent) missions, earning medals, commendations and promotions for each on successfully completed. Only the first four of the game's twelve missions are selectable. The objective, terrain and enemies change depending on the mission, with a full intelligence briefing for each available. The ide of the mission don't change much, you've basically got to kill everything or destroy a specific target, but the actual objectives do. one minute you'll be taking out an enemy bridge, the next seeking and destroying a cache of SAM missiles or assassinating an enemy dictator.Show more

This game was so awesome! you selected your loadout before each mission. Here you could choose from different weapons like an M16, MP5, grenades and the amount of extra ammo you wanted with you. Even a LAW rocket launcher! :D Then you get dropped into a mission you selected - the cool thing is that if you did it right, you could do it using only your knife and nothing else. The missions made you infiltrate buildings while fighting the enemies violently (that were complete with distive sounds while being shot :P) It made you feel like rambo or a special forces agent going behind enemy lines. This game was one that I played a lot in my youth club and I searched for just the name of the game for at least 10 years(!) and finally found it via a random search on Amiga games! i really really want to see this game in a stable version on gog!
Those games also need your vote!

Pitfall: The Lost Expedition
Pitfall: The Lost ExpeditionTwenty-two years after making his groundbreaking debut on the Atari 2600, Activision's Pitfall Harry returns for more jungle-exploring action. The intrepid adventurer is brought to life for more than 50 perilous levels set in such exotic South American locales as rainforests, glaciers, mines, and ancient ruins. As in the original, players must utilize Harry's athletic prowess to swing from vines, run from rolling logs, hop over treacherous pits, avoid snapping crocodiles, and more, while trying to survive the hostile environment. His objectives? To retrieve lost artifacts before they fall into the hands of his rival and to save those in danger. Pitfall Harry will eventually encounter situations that even he can't conquer with a well-timed jump or two, so players can pull items stored in his knapsack to assist him. Like the character's single foray on the original PlayStation, this game is designed to make players smile while exploring the mysterious lands before them. Although Pitfall 3D made use of Bruce Campbell's voice for its comic effect, Pitfall Harry attempts to use its visuals to elicit grins, with the protagonist drawn as a caricature, with a large head balanced atop a slender body. As the story begins, Harry is a member of a treasure-hunting expedition whose plane goes down in the forest. The other survivors are scattered throughout the game; an older, wiser adventurer who was on the plane -- and who becomes incapacitated during the accident -- urges Harry to embark on a quest to save them while battling a rival, eco-unfriendly group of treasure hunters for the relics of the jungle so they can be returned to their rightful owners. He hands Harry the "Hero's Handbook" and Harry's off to adventure. The "Hero's Handbook's" pages are scattered throughout the levels just like the crash survivors are. Find new pages, and Harry will learn new moves.

Pinball Fantasies
Pinball FantasiesAfter the success of Pinball Dreams on several systems, a sequel featuring four new tables was created. The gameplay is much the same as the first game, with realistic physics, multi-player options and a high score table to aim for. The tables are Partyland, Speed Devils, Billion Dollar Gameshow and Stones 'n' Bones, taking in a funfair, racing cars, a tacky game-show, and a graveyard. Each one has a range of ramps, combos, light sequences and targets to shoot, as well as general themes which are less influenced by real tables than those in Pinball Dreams.
