I really want the **Dynasty Warriors: Gundam** series to be available for purchase for many reasons. For one, the games are hard to find now, and if I want to play them, I have to resort to unofficial downloads. Deep down, I still have hope that all four **Dynasty Warriors: Gundam** games will be officially available again. I used to play them with my friends and my brother—it’s one of my fondest memories, battling with cool mechas, unlocking characters, and working together to clear difficult stages. It really made me feel like we were a true team. I truly believe that one day, great old games like this will be available for purchase again legally.

This one is a bit slower and has less suits than later games, but is worth playing just for the original story mode. Sure, you get all the emo kids going off and being emo, and all the UC people are like "WAR IS SOOOOO SCARY!!!", but ignore those. Play the story with the team of Puru, Milliardo, and Domon. That's right, the girl who yells her name as a battle cry like a Pokemon, the Char clone that didn't really do anything wrong but got dumped on the whole show, and THIS FIST OF MINE! all hanging out together, doing gundam things. Like Domon summoning his Gundam, and then Puru is like "Watch, I can do that too, PURU PURU PURU" and a Qubeley appears for a gundam fight. Truly the height of Gundam writing, a height humanity will never surpass. So until we get newtype authors, this is our swansong. Oh, the game is fun too.

Avalon Code
Avalon CodeAvalon Code plot, as well as the gameplay, revolves around the Book of Prophecy situated on the touch-sensitive lower screen of the Nintendo DS. In order to record a person, monster, plant, or weapon in its pages, the player performs a “Code Scan”, which is done by striking the target to be recorded with the Book itself (mapped to the B button at all times). The story centers on a young peasant who has been plagued with prophetic nightmares for weeks prior to the beginning of the story. His or her latest dream, shown in the opening cinematic, features a mysterious voice which reveals not only that the protagonist's world has undergone countless reincarnations in the past and is fated to continue the cycle of correction, destruction, and rebirth until “true enlightenment” is achieved, but also that the main character him- or herself has been tasked by the Powers-That-Be to deem the people, places, and things of the current world worthy (or unworthy) of being carried over into the next after the fiery purge.

Persona 2: Eternal Punishment

During her investigations, she and others who join her gain the ability to summon Personas, personified aspects of their personalities. The gameplay features turn-based battle gameplay, where characters use their Personas in battle against demons, and a separate Rumor system, where rumors spread around the city can influence events in the characters' favor.

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter
Breath of Fire: Dragon QuarterBreath of Fire: Dragon Quarter is a radical departure from the previous titles of the Breath of Fire series, and in some ways from standard Japanese-style role-playing games in general. The game is built like a huge dungeon crawler, with no overworld map. The combat is tactical: each character has action points (AP), which can be used to move around the screen during an enemy encounter, and perform a variety of combo attacks. There is no magic in the game, and many of the items found in dungeons are random. All the enemies are visible on screen. Depending on who first initiated a physical contact, the party or the enemies get an extra turn in battles. The game allows (and even encourages) the player to restart it from the beginning, keeping the items and the party experience. The game also features a special counter - Ryu can use his traditional dragon transformation abilities, but the counter raises with each such transformation, and when the counter reaches 100, the game is over. Raising the D-ratio allows characters to access new areas every time the game is replayed.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
Silent Hill: Shattered MemoriesSilent Hill: Shattered Memories is the seventh installment in the Silent Hill survival horror series, and a stand-alone reimagining of the original Silent Hill video game. Once again, you will cast Harry Mason searching across the haunted town for his missing daughter Cheryl. Through his exploration, Harry will come across objects and recordings that tell some of the history of Silent Hill. New to the series are a depiction of Silent Hill's demonic alter-dimension as a world of ice, and the removal of weapons from the game: when the monsters come out, Harry must literally run for his life. Between scenes, the game will cut to a psychiatrist's office, who asks personal questions about Harry and his past experiences. The game will then alter itself based on the player's responses, changing characters and lines of dialog to something intended to be more personally uncomfortable.
