Genres:Shooter, Simulator, Point-and-click
Themes:Action, Thriller, Warfare, Science fiction
Game modes:Single player
Story:Deadly Tide is a pre-rendered shooter in which the player gets to control a deadly new undersea vehicle. The basic plot behind the game is that the aliens have arrived on Earth, and they are not friendly. They take up residence in the oceans of Earth, and begin to launch attacks on shipping. Plus, they are also slowly raising the level of the oceans, trying to flood humans from the planet. Your mission is to stop them. The game is split up into a number of stages, taking place in various locations, the ultimate aim being to make your way through to the end of that level in once piece. There are many cutscenes that advance the story.Show more

The music, cutscenes, and sound design make this game unforgettable. This is hard to describe, but in some games you walk through narrow corridors, where every room feels the same. In Deadly Tide, the player is transported under the ocean. I can feel the scale of the environment. Although the game itself is short, it's not just about the length of the game - but how it inspires you afterwards. Have you ever played a game where you immediately wanted to know what's next? I want to play more, I want to see more of this world, I want more games to be just like Deadly Tide. Why do I want this game on GOG? Because I don't think anyone can play it anymore. I bought a physical copy with a game CD. When I tried to play it on recent versions of Windows, Windows wouldn't even detect the CD. I had to uninstall Windows updates or pull my decade-old computer out of mothballs. People sometimes ask what game they would want to see remastered with the latest, cutting-edge graphics. Deadly Tide comes to mind. Don't let this game die. Don't let the non-existent franchise die. I want this game remastered, keeping the old music, sound effects, and cutscenes. The game ended on a cliffhanger. What if there was a sequel? What if there was a franchise? ...... Just watch the trailers and see for yourself.
I had a demo of this game back in the day and have great memories of it. The music was spectacular for it's time. The gameplay itself was no big deal, it's basically just a "shooter". You shoot your guns at the right moment in the right place. Visually it was very cinematic. A fun game with a great soundtrack. I would pay a few dollars for it.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Metal Gear Solid: Peace WalkerMetal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is an action-adventure stealth video game and is the third action-based Metal Gear title made specifically for the PSP. The gameplay consists of two primary modes: Mission and Mother Base. Mission are the actual action sequences of the game where the player must infiltrate an enemy territory or fight a boss, whereas Mother Base is an army management. Some changes have been made to the standard Metal Gear formula: the player is now unable to move or shoot while laying down and while pinned to a wall, making Peace Walker the first game since Metal Gear to lack any crawling ability.

LSD: Dream Emulator
LSD: Dream EmulatorIn LSD the player navigates through a psychedelic dream world. The idea is simply to walk around and explore things in a dream environment. There are many strange environments in this world, and one way to travel through them is by foot. However, if the player bumps into walls or other objects in the game, they will be transported to another environment instantaneously through a system called "linking". Bumping into people, animals, or special objects usually results in a stranger dream. Each dream can last up to 10 minutes, after which the player will 'wake up', when the screen fades away and the player is sent back to the game's initial menu. However, if the player falls off a cliff or into a hole in the dream, then the player will wake up immediately. There is a graph that appears at the end of each dream that keeps track of the player's state of mind; the states are Upper, Downer, Static and Dynamic, as referring to the environments and the general feel of the dream the player just went through. Past states may have effects on later dreams.
