One of the funniest sidescolling "jump-&-'runs" I ever played. Games like this made the gameboy most likely the most popular handheld-videogame-system ever. It's also a game that had a female "protagonist" long before it became mandatory (even if choosable gender was easily realizable). It also allowed floating/flying years before genre-lead Mario (Bros) did it. A game so enjyoable and innovative that it still can crush majority of AI-created mass-production copy/paste-designs.

I was so impressed with how the game would handle having and not having a balloon (or multiple balloons). The game play was tight and the enemies will catch you off guard.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions
Spider-Man: Shattered DimensionsSpider-Man: Shattered Dimensions blends together the many alternate universes of the world-famous webslinger with four unique takes on Spider-Man's history in comics. In the game, Spider-Man attempts to retrieve a piece of a tablet that's been scattered across multiple parallel dimensions, and in doing so he crosses over to storylines famous to comic book aficionados as variant tellings (including The Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man Noir & Ultimate Spider-Man) of the Spider-Man mythology.

Black Belt
Black BeltBlack Belt is a side-scrolling single-plane beat 'em up game released for the Master System in 1986. It is a localization of the Japanese Mark III game, Hokuto no Ken (北斗の拳), based on the manga and anime series of the same name (which would later be published as Fist of the North Star in English). The export version was released without the Hokuto no Ken license, forcing graphic alterations to the game. Black Belt was one of programmer Yuji Naka's early games prior to his involvement in Sonic the Hedgehog.

Pitfall
PitfallHow deep can you go? In Pitfall you manoeuvre your ship down a seemingly neverending shaft while avoiding the rock edges and disembodied faces. Use the left right keyboard keys to move your ship side-to-side and use the up and down arrows to slightly speed your ship up or slow it down. Hitting rock faces will take points off your hit-points but hitting those creepy floating faces will mean instant death. Your ASCII graphics ship has ten hit points to start with. Five additional points are rewarded as you manoeuvre further down deeper into the shaft every three thousand points. Occasionally you will find a floating star in the depths which will reward you a bonus of two hundred points. There are no multiple attempts down the shaft. Each destroyed ship means you must start all over again.
