Cliche story, but this is a classic that I used to play on my aunt's old Windows XP computer in the mid 2000's, along with Zuma Deluxe. One thing I am displeased with however is on some versions that you can find on the internet, whenever you complete them you don't get to have a credits screen, like I did with an original copy 2 decades ago. When you complete the game your propeller thingy starts flying and power ups fall down and explode like fireworks.
Another thing I am displeased with is how this game never got a proper remake/remaster, just an iOS port with slightly different UI. The developers are long gone and I don't believe this game will get a well-deserved remake/remaster. On Steam I noticed there is a newer Xonix game that is inspired from AirXonix but looks more bland and somehow more lacking despite the better graphics. AirXonix is the original in my book.
