Bigal109: I was able to install this game fine but once installed I could not access the original game but only the expansion. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail. Anyone any ideas?
jobieusn: In Reference to this, The Expansion is an add-in to the game, Not a stand alone mission set... As you play through you'll switch sides moving along with the continuity of the story line. Pretty neat addition to be honest :)
So, are the missions from the original game also included in this Complete Edition version then? Just curious, as I have just started the game, and the setting is beginning with the Russian European front, and not the American defense of the invasion of California as I was expecting. In the GOG gamecard, it *does* state that the Complete Edition includes both the original and Soviet Assault expansion, so I'm a little confused, as the expansion was supposed to originally add 6 new missions to the original (along with new enhancements, weapons, ect). So basically, this CE just fuses missions of the original game with the expansion in one longer campaign then, and overall we are not missing any of the original gameplay? Would appreciate if you could shed some light on this...thanks :)
