This is strange. The file names are exactly the same. The files size is not?
The exe file I have is 899kb
the -1.bin 4,193,412kb
the -2.bin 2,467,776kb
I have downloaded the exe and -1.bin 4 times now. the other files 3 times.
Don't see the point in downloading it again unless there is another update.
Those sizes are all right. You will see the ones I posted if you go to Properties (right click menu on each file) in the "Size:" field. The ones you posted, as seen in Explorer's colums, are rounded to the nearest Kilobyte (the size in bytes divided by 1024)
Don't know if you are using your browser or Galaxy to download the files. Maybe try with the GOG downloader (
https://www.gog.com/downloader ). I have a connection full of troubles, and the GOG downloader has never failed to recognize when the downloaded file has an error caused by the connection.
It also allows to pause and resume the downloads at any point, and it does not re-download anything if the file already present is exactly the same as the one you are trying to download (by using checksums for portions of the file if I'm not mistaken).
You can use that last feature to check if the files you already downloaded are correct. You just need to make sure to set the correct download folder in the settings of the GOG downloader (I have set it to the same as the Galaxy downloads folder, which is
D:\GOG\!Downloads for me) and put the files inside another folder named
titan_quest_anniversary_edition within it.
If you are not sure how to do all that, simply use the GOG downloader to download one of the small patches for Titan Quest (for example the one for 2.8a to 2.8b is only 3 Mb) and the program will create the folder for you.
Patch download URL:
gogdownloader://titan_quest_anniversary_edition/en1patch0
Once it completed downloading, press the small circle with the magnifying glass next to it and an Explorer window of that folder will open. You can then place the installer files you already have inside that one and use the following URL to try and re-download them:
gogdownloader://titan_quest_anniversary_edition/installer_win_en
If it has to download them again, it means there was some error in them, if not, they are correct. If they are correct and they still do not work, you'll probably have to contact GOG support.
--- edit ---
The forums do not create a correct link for the
gogdownloader:// URLs ... <sigh>
