Hi, I am new to the whole Hack and Slay genre and so far the only one I've played was torchlight. Now I am playing Titan Quest and I have two questions about the possible modifiers your character can get through collecting magical items and such. I think I already have the answer to one (only needs confirmation) but still don't understand the other.
1) As far as I understand whenever you get a X% fire damage (or ice ect.) you need to also have a basic damage of the same type (like a weapon with +X fire damage) otherwise it would not be effective at all.
2) Where is the difference between +X life regen / sec and +X% life regen. In general why is the /sec missing in the latter? (same goes with energy regen).
If someone of the professionals could help me out here I would be very grateful. I've been searcghing through the net and some big TQ forums for days but especially this second thing never was explained to me.
