Hi everyone. For me replacing binkw32.dll from the Titan Quest main directory with a version from X-COM game fixed the problem. Intros now playing fine.
Don't know if this will work for everyone.
PS: intros are skippable

If a game uses Bink Video you should find the "binkw32.dll" in the directory where the executable file for the game is located. I just searched my game folder for binkw32.dll and picked one.
Some examples for games using Bink: Skyrim, Dragon Age Origins, Fallout New Vegas, Civ IV, Fallout 3.....

Mostly if a game uses bink you will find some *.bik files in the game folder or any subfolder. These are the pure movie files. If you don't want to search for a game to get the latest binkw32.dll just download the RAD Video Tools from here: http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm - they should include binkw32.dll afaik.

Yay, today I finally got response from GOG's so called "tech support".
Run as admin
Reinstall DirectX
Reinstall VCredist
Install RAD Video Tools (BIK)
Deactivate your Firewall
Really GOG? This is your idea of a good support? I've learned this in my school time. If this is what GOG support does I won't bother to open up a ticket next time. Really disappointed - this is PC 101.

The reason I was posting this is that I think the tech supports solutions are ridiculously basic. I am pretty sure that only the minority of users here on GOG would find those "reinstall this and reinstall that" suggestions useless because everybody witll have tried such simple things before even contacting support.
Another fun fact is that I got my answer today and there was not a single sentence mentioning that this already was fixed which means they don't even have contact with the development department. To say it frankly: there was not ONE time were the support could help me. There were several times were I suggested workarounds for them but all in all imo the GOG tech support is completely worthless.

Please keep in mind that our Support staff gets thousands of tickets a day, we can't access a person's computer remotely to really see the root of the problem, and thus that's why you get the initial steps and then further work can be done to address the problem once we rule out all possible solutions :)

Speaking of things that should be done different: are there any news regarding the updated Witcher 3 Installers? As you can read here the new GOTY installer has several advantages to the one we are now using. Unfortunately after some nice "we will ask because we usually try to do everything possible" reaction on German Facebook there is complete radio silence now from both CDPR and GOG regarding this topic. So basically this is a signal for never again buying early. I really don't understand why GOG/CDPR let buyers of the single releases down here. Please don't tell me that it's impossible because you've done things like this several times before.
