I got an email from CDPR saying the Witcher 3 season pass is out! Cue much happiness, especially as it's offering 15% off.

But, I come to GOG to get it and nope, not for sale yet.

Can anyone shed any light on it?

The Expansion Pass has been out for ages.
Umm, no.

Says pre-order.

Has a release date been set yet?

Did you even bother reading or watching the video? The expansion pass is your ticket to the DLCs, and it has been available, as I said, for ages (end Nov, beginning Dec last year!). If you buy it (which you can do NOW), you can download Hearts of Stone immediately, and you will be able to download Blood and Wine as soon as it is released. Please keep up.

I received an email as well about it, and a couple of days ago too. So I have no clue what's up with that either.

Did you even bother reading the email? It says the expansion pass has 30 hours of gameplay and is out now, with a 15% discount. Neither of which is currently true. It isn't discounted and there isn't 30 hours of gameplay at the moment.

Yes, you can PRE-ORDER the expansion pass and you get Hearts of Stone now, which is 10 hours. The wording of the email is very misleading. The expansion pass has been out for months and months, so why send an email saying 30 hours of adventure - out now with 15% discount?

It's wrong and misleading - especially when a closer look on GOG now reveals that the release date is actually stated as H1, 2016 - so it could be as late as June 30th.

On a personal note - you don't need to jump all over people when you reply. Tone isn't conveyed very well in text, so if my reply came off as anything other than puzzled, it wasn't meant to be. You really don't have to be a dick about it.

I've been here for five years, yet my post count isn't in triple figures - I try not to interact with gamers as they're so busy showing how l33t they are with their snippy little comments, it's very difficult to have an adult conversation with them.

I make it a rule to not say anything on the internet that I wouldn't say to people's faces. Maybe you should too?

First, why would I read an email that I have never received? Second, the expansion pass has NO hours of game play. It is a pass, not a DLC. Which part of that do you not get? It is not wrong; it is not misleading; you simply just don't get it. Lastly, on your personal note, so you're a sensitive twit... I get it, now please leave the room.

Add me to the group of confused people, having had the expansion pass since it was released, and blood and wine not being out yet so there isn't at least officially 30 extra hours?

I couldn't agree with you more I bought the expansion pass at the same time that I was able to pre-order the game and I believe it was about 5 months before even the game was released. Now if you are a new user of TW3 then you might be getting this. But as for me I've got no email like that or see nothing like it on my main 'gog' screenn where I start TW3.
I'm not a new user of TW3, I pre-ordered the game early and the expansion pass as soon as it was made available.

However I am also receiving emails (at least three now) stating 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Expansion Pass Out Now!‏'.
Which is true the pass is available, although the mail itself is suggestive of all relevant content being available now too (see the attached images).

There is no mention of any content being yet to release.

I see nothing that suggests all relevant content is available now. Where does it mention Blood and Wine? In fact, where does it even mention Hearts of Stone? In your images there is only mention of "Expansion Pack". Now, go and read the information for the Expansion Pack. It reads:

"About: The Expansion Pass secures your access to two epic adventures set in the vibrant world of monster hunter Geralt of Rivia.
Hearts of Stone (available now!) ...
Blood and Wine (coming in H1 2016)"

Yes, but the email could be seen as misleading. As it makes no mention of any content yet to arrive and states 'available now' and '30 hours of new adventures'.

I don't need to check the expansion pass store page, as I stated I pre-ordered the pass as soon as it was made available (before the game release). And am well aware blood and wine is not available.

No it couldn't. Not in the slightest. The email is about the expansion pack. This is the point that everybody seems to be completely missing. There is no content missing, because there is no content to *be* missing. The email is not about Blood and Wine. The email is not about Hearts of Stone. It's not rocket science.

So, a new customer who pruchased the TW3, receives this mail. (not even necessarily from GOG but from perhaps another digital store). Clearly stating 30 hours of new adventures available now. Would of course know that there aren't yet 30 hours of nw adventures available?

No, no they would not. At least not from that email.

Did I say at any point that any content was missing? The closest I said was 'yet to arrive' and in my second paragraph I mention that I'm well aware blood and wine hasn't been released as I pre-ordered the expansion pass even before the game was released.

Stop skirting the bloody issue. You said that the email is misleading. It is not. Only a simpleton, new customer or not, would miss the fact that the email is about an expansion pack, not about the DLCs themselves. Try reading before you start complaining.
