Vaehatiel: Hey there.
Another thread of mine, this time it's a problem instead of a question. I seem to get random freezes and I can't shut the game down, there's no audio or anything. Even the trinity combo, which is the holy Alt + Ctrl + Del won't help as I can't see the Task Manager because the game obscures it, yet it's completely frozen. Alt+F4 doesn't work either.
The only way I can shut the game down if I "Sign out" of Windows or reboot my PC completely. Any solutions? PC specs & other possibly important information below:
CPU: Intel i5-4670K @ 4.3 GHz
GPU: Asus STRIX GTX 970 DirectCU II OC
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X 1x8GB 1,333 MHz
OS: Windows 8.1 x64
Game version: GOG
Patch version: 1.02
I'm currently playing in the White Orchard village, just finished the contract for the Southern Spectre, or however it is called in English. I'm about 3 hours in to the game if that helps.
I'd appreciate any help as this is getting more and more annoying. The issue seems relatively frequent.
