Of course, but games shouldn't be released needing so much work. Too much greed.
It's understandable. As long as they can address most of the bugs and player accessibility problems.
I don't think greed plays a big part. Paying bills and staying afloat to make more games does. Plus CDPR has always done right by gamers, so I'm entirely willing to forgive them this time.

Besides, what exactly did they do wrong? Release an immensely playable game that looks great? Aside from some annoying crashes, the game is complete.

Next up is the bug fixing that having millions of people play your game inevitably will turn up. There's the implementation of some extra graphics goodness, to make up for VGX and 35-minute trailer disappointment. That's about all I can see.

Unfortunately, releasing bug fixes for consoles is costly, while patching on PC is pretty much free. I hope getting the PC version all polished up won't get held back by the economics behind patching on the console platforms.
I'm using a 3 yo rig with a mix of low-high settings. I hope CDPR didn't do anything drastic just to please gamers with higher demand for graphics fidelity.

I'm still early on the game and they mentioned Novigrad and the 5000 doors. I hope this matter will not prevent me from playing the game onwards. *fingers crossed*

Should have been polished up already. They had extended time to fix and finish this. I can only imagine how bad this game would have been released on its original date.

Still not as bad as Skyrim, where developers allow the community to repair their game.
Okay. IMO the game was already polished beyond what's expected. And there's a reason why they published those minimum and recommended requirements to run the game properly.

Unless there is a majority concensus that the game feels or to a point that bugs render it unplayable then we really have a game half-baked and rushed.
My computer meets the recommended setup, and I get sporadic CTD's rendering the game unplayable. Now if someone is trying to get under the recommended minimum, well they deserve what they get. But for someone meeting the minimum requirement, and still having issues, well that's not entirely their fault. Yes, they could have a PC full of adware, malware and BS resident applications causing problems but that's another issue and fairly easily fixed.

This is probably a fantastic game, but I wouldn't know because it's not stable.

Me too. When Assassin's Creed Unity came out, I was able to play the game at ultra without any problems. Then they started to patch it for all those who had problems. Really what the patches did, I think, was transfer the problems to me. Thankfully I was able to play through everything and the DLC before they patched it into unusable for me.

I hope the patches for W3 don't do that to me.
looking forward to the patch!

Very true but I can't compare skyrim to witcher 3.. As broken as Witcher 3 is atm.. it is a game no other can compare too its too unique in massiveness and coolness. I am happy for the patches they are much needed.

Will they fix the imprecise wonky keyboard and mouse controls?

Mouse and Keybaord controls are crisp and responsive like mad. I am slicing ghouls and humans like a pro. Try turning on Hardware Cursor, lowering in-game mouse sensivity, and motion blur off. That fixed floaty controls for me.

They're referring to left-handed gamers.
