Millian: I don't think greed plays a big part. Paying bills and staying afloat to make more games does. Plus CDPR has always done right by gamers, so I'm entirely willing to forgive them this time.
Besides, what exactly did they do wrong? Release an immensely playable game that looks great? Aside from some annoying crashes, the game is complete.
Next up is the bug fixing that having millions of people play your game inevitably will turn up. There's the implementation of some extra graphics goodness, to make up for VGX and 35-minute trailer disappointment. That's about all I can see.
Unfortunately, releasing bug fixes for consoles is costly, while patching on PC is pretty much free. I hope getting the PC version all polished up won't get held back by the economics behind patching on the console platforms.
Should have been polished up already. They had extended time to fix and finish this. I can only imagine how bad this game would have been released on its original date.
