Legacy: I was looking through the steam valid CD key list for games that can be activated on the service and noticed witcher 2 was on the list, however my CD key doesn't work.
Licaon_Kter: If you wanted it on Steam you should of get it from Steam, but since you never paid any money to Valve don't expect them to offer any service to you.
I've activated at least a dozen games on Steam that I didn't purchase through Steam. If they didn't want me activating games on their service without giving them money they wouldn't make it the first option on the "games" pulldown menu, would they?
Anyway, what 227 makes sense if that's the case. I was just hoping it was an oversight or something. I purchased it where I wanted to purchase it, however it would have been nice to have the added bonus of additional convenience.
