GODzillaGSPB: Actually it was meant as the joke. I hoped the "XD" smilie and the *duck & cover*, meant as an expression of played shame for what I said, where both hint enough to suggest the not at all serious nature of my post. (Note to forum: We NEED smilies!)
I've learned that in forums people tend to say the opposite of what they actually mean and since you admit it was just played shame, I assumed that you very much meant what you said and ducked afterwards to get out of the line of fire... But as I said, not the point. I keep getting shut up (or at least they try), when I point put the most natural issues. Why am I required to fix things on my part, when it's their thing to fix? Why should I not use the controller, when they sell the product as "supports XBox360 controller"? Why should I not bitch about broken features? I love the game to bits and I really like how CDPR work. But that doesn't mean I have to blindly defend them against their own mistakes, I'm just being real.
Aaden: All I was trying to say is, that there was no shady backroom business going on between CDPR and MS (at least not necessarily).
The wide spread of X360-controllers is MS's doing and CDPR merely adapted to that situation (and, surely, kept their console-plans in mind) by deciding to go with XInput rather than DirectInput.
I don't blame CDPR. It's been too late to rebel against it for a long time. I was only saying that I am not a console lover in any way, that the 360 controller was NOT my choice and that I was pretty pissed off when I realized I couldn't play any new game with my Logitech controller. The wide spread of X360-controllers is MS's doing and CDPR merely adapted to that situation (and, surely, kept their console-plans in mind) by deciding to go with XInput rather than DirectInput.
