darkwind23: Did someone complete City of the deep ones level? It seems to be broken. Monster respawn time is absurd, weapon do little damage, there so many enemies you cannot sometimes teleport from them(because you don't have any free place), mech is destroyed in few seconds(if you have even luck to collect all the parts).
After previous level(with first boss) it seems that there is something wrong with this level.
Depends, on which difficulty.
On Normal, the whole thing is doable with minor fuss. You won't even have to grind, only 1-2 shuffle will you need for that difficulty.
The problems of the game though are already noticable, certain perks being entirely useless, some maps demanding certain choices because the weapons are limited to a category (if they spawn at all), the abilities are meh at best, the epic-skills are way too unreliable (you have like 1% chance, and half of them are not good anyway), neither type of upgrade allows you to become stronger when fighting, and you always start form clvl 1.
The problems are clearly noticable on Aether Difficulty, and you'll even meet serious engine-bugs.
First: the game tends to not spawn anything at all (aside monsters). The starting weapon is useless, and half the possible weapons remains useless thus become a threat to accidentaly bumping into them. You have no time to recharge you teleport, and the length of the maps are depending a lot on the random (wether the key object will spawn or not).
Your only chance to finish the maps is to get one of the good weapons at random, get ASAP some skills that make them working (33% faster reload, extra bullet shot etc.), hopefuly even get some ability to use, AND the random do not spawn too strong/too many enemies.
Tip: get the "start with a random ability" skill for this difficulty for starter.
I pretty much think the Eldritch Difficulty is pretty much impossible because of all the above.
Maybe, just maybe if you go Pay To Win, and max out the "start with random perks" skill you might have a chance, but that1spretty much it. Given how insanely expensive that skill is, I wouldn't bet many grinding for it.
Other bugs and annoyances: sometimes the teleport refuses to work, and you can get stuck in pixels.
Either way, hints for normal: most of the times the best build is more bullets shots + regeneration, hopefuly with 8 barrel shotguns. On Normal the tesla assault can work too, but definitely not on the next diff.
