Hi Folks,
in the root folder of X-Wing, there is a folder for the Game Data called "X-Wing Data" plus another one for the content originally being read from CD, called "XWING CD". In that one, we can also find the Music for all cutscenes (as .wav). So far, so understandable.
What puzzles me, is that there is also a folder simply called "Music", in the root folder of X-Wing (e.g. X-Wing\Music). In that one, we can find track02.ogg -> track08.ogg.
track02.ogg is obviously the music running ingame in the 1998 version. But what the heck are the other tracks for? track03 up to track08.ogg consists of orchestral music, which is never played in the game, at least, I haven't noticed it yet.
Anyone knows, what they are there for?
