I've been super stretched thin on time so apologies for not being able to write here until now.

We just released an update, the newest version is 0.8.18. There was a bit of a mishap with version 0.8.17, which introduced a bug regarding Assemblers/Refineries showing no power even though they had it. It is fixed in 0.8.18!

Read all about it here:

that's nice.
Any news when that will be available on GOG?
The new version, I mean.

I only get offered 0.8.15 and I'm out of power with a pirate ship en route...

I love that you are staying involved in the gog forums! You're probably one of my favorite devs right now because of your level of involvement with the community across so many different platforms, so that nobody feels alienated.
You actually care, and that makes ME care!

By the way, I'm working on a very big list (more than 60 items long!) of feedback for you! I will eventually post it in these forums right here on gog. I'm really excited about the game and how it's growing and I hope my feedback will help. I'm also really happy to see so many other people everywhere giving feedback as well. It's very cool! bugbyte is on the radar of many people right now, and it's just such a cool thing.

Thanks for being such a high quality dev team and a cool person. God speed.

Hello!

We're not really sure why the offline installer is not updated. We've pushed the updates through the developer portal for GOG Galaxy.

I'm going to contact GOG and find out how the offline installer is updated =)

And thank you for the kind words @fridgeband!

Non-Gog-Galaxy Backup Offline Installation Files are still at v0.8.15.

Is there anything you can do about that?

Or is that solely GOGs failure to give us what we paid for?

Edit: Hm, So it seems, it is GOGs policy to force people to use Galaxy by providing THEM
with faster updates :o(
Which is rather nasty, as the new GOG Galaxy _requires_ Windows 8.

Something has been wrong on their end.

I contacted them and they now stated they should be able to fix this today. Apparently the offline build should update 30 mins after the Galaxy is updated. This was the information I received!

Hopefully after this it will work smoother =)

I just wanted to let you know that i just left a huge (about #85 paragraphs sorta) MASSIVE feedback and review in the forums split across 6 threads (because of the forums giving me issues posting it all in one thread only, which I would have rather done to be honest) I really hope it helps! have a really good day! = )
Yes Fridge, we all know. It IS kinda obvious, with all the threads and CAPS
and you posting this notice everywhere.

Maybe keep it a little down next time. This borders on spam.

(This in NO way means to diminish your work. It's just a bit much on the advertising (almost begging for attention) side.
As this is a new game, everybody reads every post anyways, so there wasn't a chance Your's get missed)

To the best of my knowledge I only mentioned it in my review, and possibly only two other threads, but in direct reply to the developer at bugbyte, so I would hardly call it "posting this notice everywhere"....

Ouch, that comes off as a little harsh, don't you think?

Yrol_Denjeah: This borders on spam.
I respectfully disagree, I would have gladly posted all my feedback inside only one thread if the forums were coded to allow me to post the rest of my feedback as additional posts in reply to my main post that started the thread. Unfortunately, the forums do not allow me to make a thread and then add more replies. As I explained in my (5 to 6?) feedback threads containing 85 paragraphs of feedback to the developer bugbyte, it was not my choice to have to make that many threads, but I did my best to do so in the most neat and polite and organized way possible given my posting abilities.

I'm not advertising or begging for attention, I'm simply very passionate and enthusiastic about bugbyte and space haven, and I'm very excited to help give my feedback because at this moment in time I feel a great deal of respect for the developers and I really like their game a lot because in a strange way I feel like this game should have existed a long time ago and it takes some really seriously good intuition and sense and connectedness with the player-base/audience to actually sense and know that they wanted a game like this all along, and then be like "Yea, we're totally going to make this game", and then actually going and making the game. It's just a cool game that I'm surprised didn't exist sooner, as it is essentially a game that everyone wanted for a long time, so lots of respect to bugbyte.

I can not possibly imagine how you could ever think this about me.
If you think something like that about someone, just be honest and ask them. No need to make assumptions of" advertising", "spamming", and "begging for attention". That really hurts my feelings man, because you're putting ideas about me out there and I'm sad if people think I'm a trouble maker, because I know I'm a rule following good gog user.
but hey you know, that's your opinion and I respect that, and this is just my opinion too. at the end of the day it it's not a big deal. I'm just gonna keep playing video games.

I honestly wasn't worried about it, I'm just excited about a game I love.
°steps slowly away from the crazyperson° Uhm, i just go stand... way over Theeeeere now for some days.

°winks to AdmiralGeezer° You should have made this Thread read-only as it is the usual method in Greeting Cards :o)
