Hello. I bought the Rayman series during the Summer Sale, and I've been trying to get Rayman 2 working.
While everything seems to be working fine at first, the game crashes while loading the area that follows the slide off the Pirate Ship. I've looked for other topics, and I haven't been able to find a workaround. Here's what I've tried:
1) Added Rayman2.exe as an exception in the DEP settings.
2) Changed nGlide to desktop resolution.
3) Changed settings in GXSetup to DirectX6.
4) Restarted the computer multiple times.
5) Used Compatibility Mode on Rayman2.exe.
6) Checked off the "Run this program as an Administrator" option in Rayman2.exe's properties.
7) Downloaded and installed the DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010).
8) Checked for "ubi.ini" in the install folder. (It is there.)
Unfortunately, none of these methods have worked, and I've watched Globox ram into Rayman more times than any human requires. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm using a Windows 7 (64-bit) OS, and my PC specs exceed the requirements of the game.
