The Evil Within games came with their pre-order DLCs, I was wondering if Prey comes with the Pre-order shotgun.

Yup. It's included in the base game :)

Awesome. Thank you for the rapid reply!
Is there a way to disable it tho?

It's a bonus weapon. If you don't want it, you can just not use it.
Steam has a way to disable the DLC separately. As far as I know, GOG doesn't have this feature. Even if it did, I think the pre-order pack is built into the base game and isn't an additional DLC for the GOG version.

So it would be hard to remove unfortunately.

You can always just refuse to open the box in your office. Nothing else is any different in the game.

Since the margrave has identical stats to a regular shotgun, I replace the first shotgun I find with it, so that I get the cool gold skin.

I know this is a BIG ask, but could someone who works for GOG please split this out into a separate free DLC that comes with the base game for free? That way those of us who buy the base game can easily remove the content.

Wait. Are you talking about the shotgun you find in your office? You mean you're not supposed to have a shotgun at that point in time?... Well I guess its a bit late for me to start over.

(Potential extremely minor spoilers follow)

It's not a particularly big deal. If you do some searching around you can find a shotgun in the first hub area anyway, within about 5 minutes of entering the talos 1 lobby. So you haven't horribly broken the balance of the game or anything

Is cosmonaut shotgun pack DLC included in Digital Deluxe Edition too? No word about it on selling page for DDE.

Depends on where you explore. I had a shotgun way before I got to his office.

It's in one of the offices near the elevator in the main Lobby, so you can get it within the first 10 minutes of the game, no neuromods required. Just explore and do a little bit of parkour

I am an older person, and find a lot of things a bit frustrating about many games.

The "everybody knows" factor, no tutorial, no manual, no demo to try before you buy.

If there is a manual, not listed alphabetically.

Nonintuitive interfaces. Ya know kids, things were not always deliberately buried
in layer after layer of drop down menus.

A popup on the screen said something to me like "Do you want to claim the bonus" and showed a picuture of a rectangular box, like a locker or something. "This is where it is". Well, I looked for about six years, still have not found it.

A bit belated reply here; but I just started playing this a few days ago...

I'm also "older" (over 60yrs), and can relate. It's a large (bigger than a person) "box" (or, locker) in your "main office", once you progress out of the very first "Neuromod" area (into the Talos Lobby area). It has all the "bonus" stuff in it. (And those that don't want them can merely not loot the box, or drop the goodies that were in it if they picked them up).
