(If it isn't the same person, then at least I'm not repeating myself to the same person three times.)

GOG builds their own patchers/installers with the files the devs provide, so that will take time.
Add to that the fact that the patch seems to have gone out on steam at about 1 PM Eastern US time... There is a good chance they won't start working on the files until tomorrow.

Edit: I don't know when the files went out from Obsidian, just when people start posting on their forums that they were DLing the patch. They may have been sent out earlier, and then went live some time after they were sent out, so GOG could very well have already started the procedure for making the new installers. Either way, give them a day or so before you start to worry.

On the last two patches of Pillars and one of Wasteland, GOG team made a record time of 24 hours (amazing because one of those was on weekend).

So, thanks to that, I'll say we need to prepare the torches and knife and put fenixp as the leader of the inquisition!

Up to the date, all the patches of Obsidian for Pillars of Eternity have been compatible with previous saves.

That is what I thought. Someone was asking is save would be compatible....

Since it hasn't been updated yet, are we going to have to wait until Monday for this? I would have expected to see it before now since it came out on Thursday.

Packaging people work standard 9-5 jobs. Unusual if it shows up before Monday.
