Jamie.monro: I started with 2.08 which seemed pretty solid, which I played with a few mods (including the turn-based one).
I upgraded to 2.1.0h, the first version of the Definitive edition that had integrated turn-based mode and that had a pretty nasty bug where it wouldn't save the game at a certain point (it would say it was, but it wouldn't).
2.1.0i & 2.1.0j were both broken from the start since they didn't work with DLC's, so I was stuck with 2.1.0h (with the save game bug) until they released the 2.1.0k.
2.1.0k had a few annoying bugs, like the left side hotbar making an appearance during transitions, or party members in turn-based mode that you had lost control of (due to status effects), freezing up during their turn and requiring a switch to real time mode to get things working again.
2.1.1 Fixed the above problems with 2.1.0k and also introduced a round counter for status effects (eg buffs), which was a nice QOL improvement.
I have found that I managed to obtain a duplicate item for one of the relics for the storyteller which bothered me until I realized I had already had obtained that story and the item was in fact a duplicate.
There are also abilities that don't work as described (True Seeing does not work against Blur / Displacement despite being in the description, and Blind-Fight works for ranged attacks despite being described as a melee only ability).
I think it is in pretty good shape overall despite the few issues I have with it (touch wood, I still have yet to complete my first play through!).
Thank you so much for this rundown of the recent versions! I just experienced the save game issue in 2.1.0h in the season of bloom and came to the forums here to see if anyone else had experienced it. I was starting to get really worried that I would be stuck there for who knows how long until they came out with another patch - IF they came out with another patch.
Aside from the admittedly major save game issue, I haven't really experienced anything else. The only issue I can think of was a couple of times while in turned-based mode I had to switch to real time and then immediately back to turn-based because it wouldn't transition to the next characters turn. But that only happened 2 or 3 times total and I'm midway, or perhaps near the end, of chapter 3.
Also, I LOVE turn-based mode. I'm so glad I waited for it to be released before I started playing.
