Geromino: Thats because the problem is at your end, obviously.
Everyone else can run this game fine.
If you would search around the nest, you would see that not everyone is fine running the game at all.
People with Radeon graphics card are screwed.
Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12600KF 3.70 GHz
Installed RAM 64.0 GB (63.8 GB usable)
Radeon RX 7650 XT 12GB Graphics card
Windows 11 Pro.
Ever since the last few updates, I cannot play NMS anymore.
I had over 110 hours on this game previously.
It crashes if I just change 1 aspect of the game in the graphics settings.
I started a new game
I did a file verification
I reinstalled graphics drivers
I deleted registry keys
I renamed files
NOthing works.
Normally, a game shouldn't need all this to be done to to work.
All my other games work 100% without fiddling with files and options.
I have about 20 games from GOG and about 120 from Steam. All run that I have tried. So no, it's not my setup,
but a combination of this game and my graphics card.
I'm forced to play this game in 1080p on my 1440p monitor with the lowest settings.
I couldn't find anymore ways to make the game run.
I'm gonna try and install the gamepass version, see if it's really the GOG version is causing the issue.
I just might leave GOG for good if it turns out that the GOG versions of the games are glitchy. I've been here since 2012 if you look at my profile.
