styggron: They do confirm something I and many others are fearing. After you do 10 or so planets it all gets a bit repetitive. They said there is not enough diversity with the life and just feels like "another cave" or another world that is similar to others.
From what I understand, the closer you get to the center of the galaxy, the more diversity can occur. Considering how many planets there are supposed to be, and even if they were going in a straight line to the galactic center, 10 planets on the fringe is a drop in the ocean.
peternl: Problem with repetitive is they rush ive seen several twitch tv and most are young and wanne do all quickly rush rush and rush they also when some resistance or to much survival they all most say this planet sucks lets get out of here.
They're probably expecting a game with a decent to large amount of action (things happening, not necessarily shooting things). From what little I've seen, this game seems to be a slow paced game; a slow leisurely stroll through a woods, stopping to enjoy the sights, smell flowers, etc.
Another analogy: Star Trek The Motion Picture isn't a bad movie, it's just quite slow. If you aren't in the mindset to enjoy that type of movie, you'd think it was boring (or bad) too.
From what little I've seen, No Man's Sky seems primarily about exploration. Whether exploring strange new worlds, or seeking out new life and new civilizations; it's about boldly going where no one has gone before... well, until you get to the center of the galaxy... and find God, and ask him what he needs with a starship. :P
