I recently purchased realMYST, having played and loved the original. However, right when i launch the game, this message appears: "The program you are trying to run requires a current Indeo codec.
To obtain a current driver that is compatible with this version of Windows, please contact the manufacturer at http://indeo.ligos.com." I continued the game, and everything seemed to be working fine, until the video in the myst book at the beginning showed up as a blank white piece of, well, nothing. I decided to move on, and realized that I get the same issue when playing back Atrus's video to Cathrine in the holograph-thingy. I took a look at the indeo website, and apparently I have to pay 15 bucks for a current Indeo codec. Am I really stuck paying $15 to these people, or is there a way I can get this issue resolved for free? I'm on windows XP, by the way.
