I am new to the community and so unfamiliar with some 'errors' in my 'MYST Masterpiece' game. I Also posted this thread in the 'General Discussion'., but 'BRE0172' make me aware of the 'Subfora'.
I am facing 2 problems.
1- Can I access a menubar with a lot of possibilies (see original manual) ? If yes ... how ?
2- I can not load saved items. They excist in the program [*.mym and *.mys], but when I select them, I only come to see the ceiling dome picture and able to continue but NOT with the saved one !?

Additional info is: I install GOG and the game not in default dir., but in D:\GOG Galaxy\Games\*.*
Is it required to save 'in Cloud' ?!
Please can someone help me !?

Hello again :)

Have you tried to download and install the "offline"-installers?
(in your account under "DOWNLOAD OFFLINE BACKUP GAME INSTALLERS")

Sometimes this seems to help (at least with other games).

So, if Myst Masterpiece isn't dependant on Galaxy for achievements, etc. why not try the Galaxy-less alternative?
Just my two cents.

I hope you can resolve your problem one way or the other.

On the other hand, especially the 'New' mist releases [all 7] are in for updates these days, so probably auto-update should be fine.
But again, I will try your suggestion. For me it's REALLY annoying that such BASIC settings are not [easy] working ;-\

Thanks for helping me.

I can't find the off line installer ...... in my 'account managment'. No succes.
I re-install under c:\GOG Galaxy\Games\Myst Masterpiece Edition\*.*. No succes.
I only can install 'MYST' via GOG. NOT without GOG. No succes.

Declining enthusiasm will start in the GOG experience ....

Hope that more persons will share their knowledge with me.

The offline installer is under the big blue download and install button on gog.com . click on games, click the game you want to install, and under that big blue button is a small link to download the offline installer. Hope this helps a little.

That's not your account page - that's the game's shop page...

EDIT: go to your name (Guus7) in the top bar --> games (=account) -->myst

And ok, I have to go to my account .... Only tons of games .... NEVER in ALL the decades it take SO LONG for me to explore a webside ...........

in your account, you can also just enter the name of the game in the search bar (magnifying glass)...it makes finding games quicker if you own a lot of them.
You get used to it, pretty quickly. :)

Well ... I was thinking at a GENERAL installer for the tons of games, so one is able to download lots of games [you buy] OFFLINE.

Thanks for your intensive support !
Unfortunely the OFFLINE version bring me the same problems ....

Before install it, I removed the 'GOG-Galaxy' version. I install it 'to the numbers' eg. Administration rights etc.
Y'day I mail the help-desk with my problems, so from monday I am awaiting for response.
It seems so odd to me the program config is ok [path], the saved files are present ... and still they can not find the right saved file.

One last question: you're not running Win7, are you?
Because the reviews of myst masterpiece all say, there are issues with Win7.
