I`ve played nearly all the Warband games and enjoyed them a lot and so, decided to grab the Viking Reforged version.
I was very disappointed that you cannot play a dark-skinned guy in that. Why?
If it`s because there were no black people there at the time (which is debateable) perhaps it could be theorised that a black traveller visited the Viking lands and became embroiled in its world?
Or maybe vikings travelled all the way to the Mediterranean and captured black\brown slaves and one of them escaped to lead his own life in Europe?
Or maybe a black male was adopted and proved himself a powerful warrior and was freed to live his life in Europe and England.
I notice you go out of your way to allow female characters even though the likelihood of female warriors is incredibly low to non-existent. You even give them more or less the ability to have the same strength options as men which is silly. In fact, black men would have had a greater chance to succeed over women in a world where male strength and the ability to fight is prized.
By the way I`m no sjw or feminist, but notice this hypocritical act of having females in this game that can be whatever they want, but black people don`t even get a look in?
So why no black or brown characters? It seems you were so bothered about including women you totally forgot about black men.
I don`t mind if he has penalties in a viking society because he`s black or brown, even if it means he can never hold high office or be king, in fact I would welcome it for the challenge, but don`t just omit a dark skinned character completely in the Character Creation.
Please include the ability to create a dark skinned male in Charcater Creation.
Thankyou.
p.s. This will be reflected in my review until fixed.
