I'm just wondering if these are ACTUALLY the arcade versions of the game. Judging by the posted screenshots, I would have to say no. I don't have a lot of experience with Mortal Kombat, but I am in the midst of setting up a MAME cab with an authentic CRT arcade monitor and drivers that output native resolution, and these versions look more akin to the SNES/Genesis than arcade. There seems to be noticeable detail missing.
Probably still a great collection to add to your library, and I may do so simply for comparison sake, but I doubt it will recreate the arcade experience.
What are your thoughts? Especially if you have already purchased the game.
Regardless, I'm THRILLED that GOG.com is expanding their partnerships and beefing up their catalog. This is only good news for gamers and game developers.
