Xav_Shohei: The combat logger was something we did a little while ago, and it seems remnants are still there. There are a few other things we do with the internet, almost all of them being for error reporting. If the app crashes you will be asked if you want to submit your crash report to us (which it will do automatically). Other times it will send stuff to us when certain asserts fail.
CyklonDX: Would You be able to list other things that are being done with internet? You see this community is very touchy :)
I'd be happy to. We "use" it for the combat logger, for our crash handler, for select assertion failures, and for Steam saves which aren't used here. We may use it for the initial Steam DRM check as well, but I am not quite sure how that system is handled, and that is not applicable here, either.
If you are concerned about personal data, this information is only sent to us via what is logged in your Game log, your Error log, and your DxDiag. In all of these logs we collect information about your hardware. When it comes to personal information, we collect the following:
Game log: Your Windows profile name
Error Log: The install path of the game (may include your Windows profile name or other path data)
DxDiag: Standard dxdiag stuff
None of these are sent to us without your permission.
If you are so inclined you may turn off the internet or deny firewall access to Lichdom and you can still play it to completion.
