Luckmann: Now I know in broad strokes how I'm going to flesh out my all-Minotaur group.
Lexor: While idea seems to be fun I am not completely sure if it's good one. The reason is increased food consumption (Minotaurs have Food Consumption +20%). I do not know (yet) if there is enough food in dungeon to feed such party.
First best thing to do is probably investment of 10 points in Athletics to reduce food consumption. Bad thing: this is Fighter only skill so rest of professions has no access to it.
Oh, it's
clearly not a
good idea. :D Not only are minotaurs skill-starved, but they receive their net +2 Statpoints at the cost of 3 Skillpoints and the +20% food consumption, and make
horrible Rogues & Mages.
I'll be consuming enough food for a 5-man party.
If the idea wasn't novel, I wouldn't be doing it. Min/maxing unfortunately appears to be fairly easy in this game (Minotaur Warrior, Lizardman Rogue, Insectoid Mage). When I first heard of the game, I was hoping for something more along the lines of Wizardry 8, with it's 15 Classes, 11 Races, and cross-classing to boot.
Hell, even my idea of my main warrior being an unarmed PUNCH AND KICK MY WAY TO VICTORY Minotaur sounds like a terrible idea in a game where there appears to be no unarmed-class of weapons and "Unarmed" just means unarmed.
But I'm still totally going to do it. :D
