Okay dalbozofgurth, I NEVER said I had a bs argument. I conceded that we both reached an agreement on the argument. So don't act like I got scared and backed off. Try to ban me! I dare you! I've been respectful to you and your super ignorant arguments about all this VGA advertising and marketing that you could NEVER show any proof of. I showed tons of proof and can provide even more marketing only showing EGA. Original marketing by Sierra when the game was released. But you're just to ignorant and stubborn to acknowledge the obvious truth right in front of you. And you say you've presented all kinds of proof? Where??? Other than that stupid guide book, what else have you given us?? Go back and read your own posts and point all this out to us. You honestly, seriously, do not know what you are talking about. Don't just say that you do because you have all this "proof". Why don't you back up what you say with common sense based arguments? (yeah, right...like that would ever happen). In all seriousness...how old are you? What computer expertise do you have? I think I'm arguing with a kid that can't really understand the concept of computer technology. Only barely understanding what he (or she) reads

Actually, here...go to this site, download the 1991 & 1992 Sierra Game catalogs and read the description for the KQ1 remake yourself...Note that the triangle with the number 16 in the 1991 catalog means "MS-DOS EGA / TANDY" , where the 16 obviously means 16 colors. Here is a quote from the 1992 catalog - "Now re-illustrated in EGA for the '90's". Also note that VGA isn't mentioned anywhere in the descriptions. These catalogs are the original marketing from Sierra. The site is hosted by Ken Williams himself. If you still don't believe it, just e-mail Ken Williams and ask him.

I think under normal circumstances that would settle the argument. Still, I think dalbozofgurth has such self belief (or perhaps just a dislike of being corrected) that he/she would tell Ken Williams he's wrong.
Sadly, I honestly believe that you are completely right

dalbozofgurth, do you suffer from mental health issues?
A fair question.

What is it about this thread?

EDIT: And just like that, he vanishes.

What's funny, is early on (like his 3rd or 4th post to me about this subject, he gave me a link to a SCI website as proof that it used VGA graphics. Look at the box scan from the website HE linked to...

http://sciprogramming.com/sierrasgames.php?action=display&id=17

So, his own link even showed that it was EGA on the box. I do wonder about that mental health issues argument :-/
I think... I think it's over.
*Crossing fingers* I hope your right! I thought it was over before, so who knows for sure

Well you have me to blame for disturbing the balance!
LOL, it's all good. Just don't let it happen again!! :P
Closing the thread, at least until we clarify something with the OP.
