greydadel: Few days ago I donloaded 30GB and now I have to download it again??
If I knew that I would have bought it on Steam..
Is there any way to get standalone patch and bypass this nuisance? If I download CODEX pirated patch, will it work on GOG version?
Haha, I thought of that as well. But it was unclear if the codex patch was DRM free. I tend to think it comes from Steam. But it could be cross compatible. You would have to ask them. I dug around at all the usual sources and other than codex, all of the updates for 1.31 are the full download again.......so I am curious how codex isolated the patch in the first place.
My advice...for now is just use the galaxy updater to patch the game. It is a 6gb down load. The game is still drm free and plays with out the client running. So, still better than Steam.
However, I would encourage all of us here......and who ever else reads this, to open up help tickets to gog regarding this issue. That we prefer the option to not have to use gog galaxy to update the game. A stand alone installer would be nice...and i get the feeling if you send them a help ticket they will comply. I have read of people missing the stand alone patch releases between one build and another and gog has set them a link.
greyhat: There are two DLC 1.31 downloads listed as opposed to before when there was only one. The first one seems to work by it self.
veikkohy: For me it was the second part that worked (when I only installed part 1, the console said "Cannot find DLC").
That is strange. I did not get that error from the first executable. I should check and see if the DLC patch implemented properly. I did not use it until the current 1.3.1 update so have no idea what it gives you exactly. I have a bunch of maps and saw some extra armor.....but it was just some quilted horse riding armor. Do you know what else is supposed to be there?
