This works like a charm. Whole reason I signed up to GOG was to play this game. Haven't had it running like this since i was a kid. Thank you!

MrFormal: Many people have written instructions for running Interstate '76 with hardware acceleration using a Glide wrapper, but for what it's worth here's my take on it using dgVoodoo:
github.com/CahootsMalone/interstate-76-stuff/blob/master/running-interstate-76-gog-release-using-dgvoodoo.md

These instructions are intended to be clear and concise. Working through them should take ten minutes or less.

In addition to enabling hardware acceleration (which looks substantially better than software rendering; see the attached screenshot), dgVoodoo can also limit the game's frame rate (which is covered by my instructions). This prevents a number of bugs, including the player's vehicle being unable to make jumps and computer-controlled vehicles driving slowly while rapidly steering left and right.

I hope these instructions are helpful.
The shortcut part didn't work but everything else you suggested did!

I can finally play the game in glorious 1920x1080. Thank you so much!
This has worked for me as well, thank you. The only thing that seems off is the music will continue playing through the cut scenes after a mission. Cut scenes at the beginning of the mission are fine though.

Worked for me, thank you!
This guide does seem to fix most of the problems, but unfortunately in my particular case, I just get some severe frame drops out of nowhere in the training mission (though it generally plays fine), but on the actual first mission of the trip, the game's graphics get "stuck" on the initial frame and nothing else displays after that. The game technically works because audio continues playing as normal and control input is detected, but all I get is either the first frame or a black screen, almost as if the rendering itself just isn't going through. It does occasionally very briefly show video output only to go dark again. Any clue as to what may be the cause?

EDIT: It looks like TMU was not set to 2048 for some reason. It works now. Thanks!
