Hello GOG, frist time posting here. Recently started playing HDN(really enjoying it so far, hoping that GOG gets even more games on here, after hearing it being region blocked in Japan, which I find sad, but understand that nothing can be done against the law shenanigans, I was quite surprised to see HDN Re;2 & 3 on here) and noticed some bugs.

Think it's best to post them here, if there's a different place or system to report those, please tell me. Not sure if the game still gets updated and all(I really hope it does through). The order I'm listing them in is how I encountered them/ordered by the game's story, this will have SPOILERS so you've been warned.

Main Story Bugs
1.) Nep's Hunter Sword has no sound when used during the overworld.
2.) The HDD tutorial screen uses PS buttons, every other screen doesn't use them through.
3.) Noire's introduction(as well as cutscenes a bit after, fixed at MAGES. through) has her mouth movement missing/a bit late(I'm using the japanese voices, so it's not that)
4.) Noire's "Mirror Mirror on the wall" line misses a line break
5.) The Word "Loochs" should be "Loohcs"(?) in the cutscene with MAGES..
6.) the Line "Huh? Now Compa Knows? Really? Compa?! Oh come on, just say it already!" has the line break after the Oh, because of that, you only see the "O" which is cut off, similar to the bug mentioned in 4.)
7.) The Line Oh, no, that's not it.. There's a monster righ..." is cutoff.
8.) Audio breaks at the beginning and end of the "the three" lines with Japanese voices in the "revive Neptune" cutscene.
9.) Vert's Spiral Break EXE move plays the "error" sound every time you aim it to the left/right.
DLC Specific Bugs
-

Game Engine Bugs
1.) Camera Angle can't be moved UP/DOWN in the Equipment Menu(see next bug)
2.) No Camera Adjustment possible during BATTLE ANIMATIONS at all.(also see previous bug)
Now those two were already mentioned in the Steam Forums(affects Re;2 as well, something I found out with a quick google search) and a few other places, but in the PS Vita version, this is possible

Of course it's done with the Touchscreen there, but since you can adjust the camera angle here everywhere outside of battle animations, I doubt it's that, seems more like this was done as a way to avoid panty shots and all that kind of stuff.
I do find this change nonsensical, because for one:

-It's still done in the other games/the Vita version
-HDN Re;3 apparently even has a ingame item that allows you to have more free camera angles(something I found out when I did a quick google search after reading a DLC review of Re;1 here on GOG)
-Apparently a few of the outfits you get from the first DLC look exactly like the usual Nep outfit minus having those changed(so why the heck would you have THAT changed, yet not allow such things in the PC version?)

As well as am not a fan of censoring, not because the pantyshots(quite the opposite actually, while playing as Noire in the dungeons I do have the Camera angle positioned higher because there were a bit too many frames of visible panty for me) but because I want to avoid such things in games in general(why should one version have content that the other version doesn't have/be more limited than one version?)
Don't know if the normal camera got gimped as well or if it was only that.

3.) GOG version is possibly missing content? Now I've heard that the Steam Version got Japanese text support(which GOG doesn't have) then again people have said that there are different Steam Versions for Japan and the version used everywhere else, so I'd need one Steam user to confirm what's going on here.

4.) All items in the Plan -> Accessory section miss line breaks, making it impossible to see the full line.

5.) The ! Symbol which appears when enemies notice the player has a black box around it if overlapping over certain light effects(Mechatro Factory and that one Lean Tuna enemy near the end of it show this well) most likely has to do with how drawing on 2D surfaces works and I wouldn't be surprised if this bug was in the console as well, very minor thing.

6.) The Guard Break flashing text for the Crazy Buff Shampuru is bugged, it shows that the Guard is broken even if the enemy restored it.

7.) The Defense Animation for Child Wales has them jump up/down.

The List isn't that big so far, but I'll update it as I progress in the game.

Todo:
Collect more bugs as I play through the game
Rewrite the introduction.

Missing features imo are not bugs (like camera angle not changeable during animation i.e.). Also I am wondering why you have listed all these bugs but not listed the most obvious one (which really is a bug even in my book): missing subtitles in parts of the game (playing with Japanese audio) and missing audio in parts of the game when you play with English voices. The devs might point out that this is also just a missing feature but I like to differ here. As much as I've read they omitted subtitles and audio in parts of the game because it was too expensive. Still, if I advertize a game with English subtitles I expect them tzo be in the whole game.

Love the game nevertheless.

Oh hey, looks like GOG's new UI sadly doesn't show notifications, so I didn't see this message until today where I wanted to add something new.

True, those are Missing Features, but I thought I'd add them here as well, making this more of a general "ask the developers what's up with this" thread(sadly picked the wrong thread type).
I haven't had missing subtitles so far, only cutoff ones, don't play with english voices so no cutoff audio as well, but I know of a friend who's playing with them, so if he finds anything he can tell I guess.

Really, when porting they just skipped those things? The game is lovely, sadly the controversy with it being banned in Japan, such obvious bugs, DRM Free Releases and other things are dragging it a bit down, also heard that some of the localization is apparently bad, but that's most likely for RE;2 and RE;3 which carry over the original NISA translation which apparently wasn't the best.

Still enjoying the game, just hope that those things might get a fix one day.
Thanks for your post.

I highly doubt that you have subtitles shown during the battle scenes when you play (like I do) with japanese audio. There simply are none.

Regarding the missing notifications: you are rigtht, GOG broke them when introducing this new navigation bar (well, technically they are still working but it's only internal becazse GOG decided to scrap them at the moment for whatever reason). If you want to turn them back on (and add several other features) I would highly recommend that you install the barefoot essentials script from . Also highly recommended is Adalia Fundamentals script which you can find [url=https://www.gog.com/forum/general/adalia_fundamentals_fixing_gog_so_you_dont_have_to]here. Both scripts where made by true GOG fans and so far the feedback was only positive whenever I recommended them.

We've talked about it, but I'll post it here anyways so others see it:
Oh right, battle doesn't have it, neither do victory quotes, I remember that, however since such "action voices" usually don't get subtitles.
I thought that's a normal thing, am on your side through, would've LOVED to have it(as well as to have it be more of a translation instead of localization, Compa's "desu"'s as well as the -chan names could've been kept instead of being replaced by Neppy, Verty and all that, ugh, but that's something else)
rigtht? :P *right, and yeah, the ARS Website deal... did end up getting barefoot essentials, yet have to configure it correctly and all to keep the new theme, but it's lovely to have this here, just hope that GOG won't botch the new theme and finally get to adding stuff.

When I "play" the game I can't get beyond the intro song. Then the game stops working. And if I push ESC or return it also stops working.

It's the most expensive music video I have ever bought.

Yes: I have always the latest graphic driver installed.
Yes: I also keep my system updated. (win7 + everything in my system)

Do you have antivirus disabled when running HDN?
Do you have read/write allowed for game folders (a lot of issues are happening, when users install their software into Program Files)?
Do you have some exotic video codecs installed?
(Sorry to necropost, but GOG won't let me make a new topic and this is the most relevant one)

I've been playing through the game and editing the text as I see mistakes. I just released a patch installer on ModDB in case anyone else wants these changes added to their game as well.
moddb.com/mods/hdn-rb1-proofreading-mod

Mine's based on the Steam version which I understand is arranged a little differently, but if you point the installer to the folder where SYSTEM00000.pac, GAME00000.pac, and GAME200000.pac are located, it'll work the same way (and if anyone's willing to show me the file path to those, I'd be happy to add a GOG option for the next version).

Hope it's helpful. If you see anything in-game that I missed, let me know and I'll include it in the next release.

Hey, I thought I replied to you for sure? Ugh, wish that GOG would get their whole Forum stuff together...
Anyways, what I wanted to say is that I'm interested on how you exactly did that and if you're writing down the lines that have those issues(I wonder if the source is available for the installer anywhere?), with HDN Re;1-3 getting extra DLC recently, they should surely be able to patch up such issues as well.

Was also wondering if you could maybe help with getting those camera hack mods to work, in short they allowed rotating and zooming out/in the camera in any way, which could be used for a lot of different stuff, including getting a nice scenery of the area that one is playing, over getting the usual restricted angles, unfortunately those mods were only made for the steam version and seem to no longer work there as well.
