I knew about GOG for a while before I made my first purchase. I think I found out about it from TotalBiscuit?

anyways my first (and possibly only) purchase from GOG is SimCity 2000. I've wanted to buy some classics like Baulders Gate for ever but I have no way to buy it sadly :(

but yeah SimCity 2000
Giants: Citizen Kabuto for me in 2008. Had heard good things about it and had to give it a try. Been gogging ever since!
Fallout 1 and 2 in 2011
But first started regular use buying some D&D games in 2012
Syndicate and The Longest Journey.
Arx Fatalis!
Witcher 2 and Total Annihilation on June 19, 2013. While the free Torchlight thing was going on, which is what reminded me about GOG.com and led to me signing up.

Then 30-something games 2 days later.
Alpha Centauri

getting this game running on a modern system was more than I could handle by myself. Glad I couldn't do it, been a goglodyte ever since :)
I´m not 100% sure as ordering my shelf by purchase date doesn´t seem to work as it should, but it seems it was Rayman Forever. I think I arrived here by literally trying to find a copy of Rayman which could work on WXP/W7, as I really wanted to replay the game (which I couldn´t since I changed from W98 to WXP, as it was one of the few games not compatible). I really love that game so I ended buying the game, even if I already had a copy.

From then I started to get some more good old games like Dungeon Keeper, which I love too.

Lastly, back on May, after the entire Xbox One always online, not X360 compatible etc fiasco, GOG became my main platform for gaming. I just hope it can keep getting both old and modern games, as I don´t really feel like going to Steam, which I´ve never liked much, and I really love DRM free over any kind of DRM.
I just noticed the thread title says upon joining GOG, not from GOG. So, feel free to tell us about anything you purchased period upon joining GOG. :D

BTW "evilnancyreagan" is redundant. It would be like saying "a bad Pauly Shore movie".

Now there is an image I'm never going to get out of my head. :P
My first paid purchase was Icewind Dale. Second was Icewind Dale 2.

Third was Arcanum. Fourth was Battle Realms. Fifth was Journeyman Project 3.

I didn't really get into GOG though until March 2013, when I invested in the rest of the D&D titles in their D&D Dynamo sale. Then I went nuts ;D.
My first purchase was Ultima Underworld. That's what brought me to GOG.com in the first place when I read about it being released on the Ultima Forever Twitter page.
After I came in, I immediately purchased Return to Zork and The Zork Anthology.

The image..it BURNS, Precious. *dives for the brain bleach*

Anyway ~ Looks like I bought Myst V first on deep discount, after being told about it. My disk copy was cranky anyway and my Mom liked the idea of being able to play whenever she wanted, as she had never finished it. She still hasn't finished it. Its still waiting for her, in fact. I replayed it until I got stuck with what seems to be a glitch. I thought I had finished it a long time ago, not sure I did anymore. I know I never saw all the speeches because several walkthrough mentioned speeches that just didn't cue up when I was there. Oddness. Realized later that the missing videos had left me with a different idea of who was nice and who wasn't. lol

Anyway, the next purchase (for myself) was TellTale's Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, Back to the Future, and Sam & Max Season 3. I'm guessing that was a Telltale Promotion. Much gaming goodness ensued ^.^
