Pheace: Darn, looks like I waited so long for an X3 sale that I can scratch it off my wishlist alltogether now, lol.
lowyhong: You can still consider getting the X: Superbox. It's a great deal for that one. I believe it costs the same as most retail games, but it comes with all the X games, and a bunch of freebies (for the retail version)
Is there any point to owning any of the previous games? Pretty sure I only wishlisted TC at some point because the others were basically not needed. I don't care for scenario's/campaigns usually.
X-Superbox is a collectors edition of the X-Series, containing all 5 games, bonus content and a printed encyclopedia of the X-Universe by author Helge Kautz. Egosoft, using their forum community, gathered a range of fan-made content for inclusion in the X-Superbox.[5] Updated versions of X: Beyond the Frontier and X-Tension were made especially for the X-Superbox and were made available for testing on the Egosoft forums.[6] X3: Terran Conflict, the latest X-Series release, also receives an update with new content in the X-Superbox. The X-Superbox was officially announced on August 16, 2010 and was released on October 8, 2010.[7]"
Yeah, that's not for me. The reason I'd take 3 off my wishlist due to 4 is already because I'd prefer to be playing the latest installment. I have/had no need for anything but Terran Conflict personally, I wouldn't play the rest anymore.
To me it feels the same as the Mount & Blade bundle they're peddling. Great for collectors and supporters. Completely meaningless for anyone just looking to play the game. (apart from some mods which most get translated to Warband anyway no doubt).
