Punch and Pie will also be served at the summit :) (and or Cake?!)
Hell yeah I think I could do it. Though I am drunk and the pound is worth more than the dollar. What is the charity for again?
Would I like to? Absolutely.

Will I? No. I have family responsibilities here at home, plus I'm not the most physically fit guy.

Kudos to the idea, though.
I really wish I could hop in to this, because it sounds fantastic.

Definitely let everyone know when we can start donating. After all the games ak and yourself have gifted, I figure you're owed a couple billion dollars by now. :)
Bumping it for Vagabond to perhaps see it easier :)....
This is a fantastic idea. However, I have asthma and an irrational fear of heights (stepladders make me dizzy). I don't think this is exactly the charity for me. Is there one for falling into the Salt Sea instead?
Are jetpacks allowed?
Climbing this mountain is actually one of my lifetime goals, but I've checked into it and tour plus tickets will run me 6000 dollars or so. I don't think I can swing that this year but I expect you'll take some pictures at the summit:)

It's good that you're taking the longer routes, they are much easier and more enjoyable I hear.

This mountain climb isn't like climbing Everest, you shouldn't be climbing along any sheer faces. I think the last several hundred feet are shale, though, which is like treading through sand that can cut you up.

One of the reasons we're going down the fundraising route. If we can raise enough sponsorship then the costs will be lower and we raise funds for good causes at the same time! :)

Wow this sounds like a lot of fun! Even with fundraising, I probably can't afford to be there, much as I want to, but good luck and have fun you lot (and whoever else is going)

I'd like to but being somewhat on the corpulent side of the athletic scale, I suspect I might break the mountain if I tried to climb it.

Now if you ever want to do a charity funded tour of chernobyl or something equally cool, not only am I up for it but I'll film & edit the travel documentary

Hey there's a thought, manmade disasters for charity, we could do chernobyl, auschwitz & justin bieber live in concert...

You should set up one of those donating things. I forgot what they're called. On that website. Like they have for the GoG TF2 server.

Let's do charity chernobyl event! I would probably die on a mountain, but radiation poisoning kills slowly, so what the hell
this year? nah. I doubt i can get enough money to do it.... for next year?

No deadline. We just need to get a group of people together, then decide on a date (which fits in with dry season in Tanzania).
