A bit Off-Topic, but can anyone explain to me why people are voting for games on the wishlist that are already available on GOG?
If it'd be just a one-off thing I'd see it as just a mistake that we all make ... but I regularly see titles in the recently voted for list. Right now it's the Gothics.

zuhutay: Some people are also voting for games which were already XP/Vista compatible when they were released.
That doesn't matter; quite a lot of existing GOG titles didn't actually need any fixing to run correctly on modern OSes. The difference with the GOG versions is that they are DRM free and include additional tweaks and fixes where possible.

I'd like it if we could scrub the idiotic content out, games that dont exist for example. There's a lot of EA stuff in the wishlist as well, which isn't necessarily bad (Crusader series).
One thing that would be handy is if games have been entered a few times, merge them. Look at Ultima 7 for example.

It's been done, partly:
DukeNico: Indeed, please GOG team correct this :D Well, maybe not at the 11th place, because some people may have voted for each one.
Venom: Corrected, now Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II has 432 votes. But although Star Wars: Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight and Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II were merged (to the latter title), Jedi Kinght: Dark Forces II and Star Wars: Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight still remain as separate, and there may be other copies of the same game I haven't seen, and the same situation exists for a truckload of other games (just using the previously stated game as an example)... it seems to be a largely manual process, so it's probably up to us to inform the team of each game so they can correct it.
Until they update it to better manage duplicates, this'll have to do.
An idea would have to be for the user's to be able to group 2 or more games and say "these are the same" on the wish list, the devs would be able to then see that "oh, entry A has been grouped with entries B, C and D by 50 users, and with B and D by 30 users ... yeah, it seems to be various misspellings of the same game, we'll group them".

not a bad game in the lot...
though the big gap between 10 and 11 does show how they really need to update the way the wishlist works.
