Wow, maybe a little off topic, but what's with all the multiplayer hate? I've met some great people, and even an AWESOME GF playing online... Now some (most) online games these days seem to require almost no grouping or even really much interaction unless you want to.. (Champions, LoTRO, That terrible D&D one I played about two days...)
There does seem (at least to me) to be kind of a void in the old community games, but maybe that's just me being nostalgic about old EQ and WoW ... What I mean by this is it seems harder to meet good quality, fun, people... but again, that could just be my own opinion.
I still really love a good mmorpg though, just need the "right" one to come along.
I can probably understand why people here would hate the shooters and the GTA types, those seem like a haven for douches...
I liked Elite back in the day, I might be willing to give a multiplayer a shot, would probably depend on what goals etc (is it ALL 100% PvP?) are involved.
