cogadh: The GOG "announcement" of the upcoming publisher did say it would be one of the publishers of at least one of the top 10 titles on the wishlist, that means it can only be EA or LucasArts, since all the other publishers in the top ten are either already here or the title in question is held up in legalities.
Can I see that quote please? I'm asking because I can't find it, and the only thing that I can find mentions "top of most-wanted list" and that, as I said before, can be a broad term.
http://www.gamezebo.com/news/2010/01/28/gogs-marcin-iwinski-activision-deal-why-drm-still-sucks "The next big thing for us will happen at the end of March. We are finalizing another major deal that will boost GOG's catalogue with some of the most-awaited games from the top of our most-wanted list. We will gladly tell you more about it in March :) "
Paradoks: Even if look at the top 20 - it brings Eidos and Atari into play.
Navagon: Well, not really Atari as most of their sought after games are D&D. Due to the legal battle between them and WotC over Atari's use of the license, I don't think that we'll be seeing those... ever. Even GOG ruled that possibility out completely. Eidos are a possibility. But given that they're run by Squee, I don't know what the odds are.
I realise that chances for Atari are slim. But Eidos is still Eidos, despite being owned by SE. At first SE planned to drop the Eidos name and merge it completely with Square-Enix Europe, then they said it was only temporary, and now it's Eidos - a part of Square-Enix Europe (for now at least). And they still have much freedom - just remember Crimson Echoes and then look at this thread:

need to be here ;).
