Mass Effect 3 CE (PS3, shipped)
Tales of Graces F (PS3)
Armored Core V(PS3, hopefully I might not be able to afford it)
I'm going to stick with my 9-year trend and not buy any new games this month.
I'll probably pre-order Risen 2. Maybe. I'm still not 100% on it.

To wait for price drops or do you only like older games?

Risen 2 doesn't come out until May does it?

Late April, but there's pre-order DLC that I might actually be interested in getting.

Price, bugs, waiting for GOTY editions to get all of the add-ons at one price, time to play, hardware, and the particular retail sites offering the titles. And generally that it isn't, for me, the hobby that it once was.

This week, I'm getting Mass Effect 3 (CE) on PC.
Next week, I'll be giving Tim Schafer and his gang a whole lot of cash so they can make a new adventure game.

Also, I'm getting one of these later this month. I'm not a big fan of guns, but it's only a model of a gun that newer was or is, and I'm not saying no to a fine collectors item, especially not when I can get it fifty percent off. It's nice to friends in the gaming industry. ;)

Oh, and I also have high hopes for Journey on the PS3. Will be getting that too.

Pretty much the same here. Occasionally there are games I buy new, but that's a very rare occasion - I think the last three games I bought new were Civ4, Oblivion, and GalCiv 2.

I don't really understand why people are spending 40$ on games that they could get for a fraction of that price if they just waited a little. But then again, it's probably their money (and eagerness to part with it) that stimulates the development of the games that I later buy for a dollar or two, so I don't see it as a bad thing. ;)
So far I've bought

PC:

ME 3 DCE
Containment: The Zombie Puzzler

And MGS 3 for the 3DS is pre-ordered

Some more indies probably. While those aren't technically "new games", I usually only take notice of them when they are featured on Steam.

I hardly buy new AAA games, but Mass Effect was a must play and 3DS games don't drop in price anyway (usually so 30€ seems a good price for MGS). I often buy indies when they are less then a tenner and look interesting. Even if they only last one (extended) playthrough, I like supporting the small time devs.
Mass Effect CE, dunno where though, as Game screwed the pooch on my preorder, may have to get the vanilla version in Tesco's....*shudders..

Games are not cheap to make. A modern AAA game has a budget of $30M+, and take anywhere between two to four years of continous effort to create. That investment needs to be re-earned as quickly as possible once a game releases. The longer it takes to break even, the harder it will be for both developer and publisher to draw profit from the income. So yeah, if you like AAA games, you should be glad there are indeed those of us willing to "take one for team" and buy the games we are interested in for full price at launch. The AAA industry would probably not sustain itself if everyone bought games for $30-20 or less. ;)

Edit:
Unless it is indie, of course. Even (and perhaps especially) then it is important to buy at full price. Those games are already too cheap. In my opinion.

I will get Rayman Origins if it's true that the retail edition doesn't need an online activation. And that's that for new games. I have The Last Story and some GOG backlog to keep myself entertained.
Nothing 'cause I'm in bumfuck nowhere without my gaming PC.
I think this month I am only buying Mass Effect 3. It is bought and shipping (or soon hopefully), but I won't be getting it for a couple weeks (waiting for my parents to bring it to me from the States when they visit me. I'm in London for the semester and I didn't want to spend more here - the exchange rate would screw me over). And even then I have exams when I will actually have it, so I probably won't actually play the game until the first week or so in April.

Other than that nothing I can think of (unless it is some really good deal on something here or on Steam maybe). I bought Crusader Kings II and the Icewind Dale games + (free) Temple of Elemental Evil (from GOG) at the end of the last month though.
Nothing

Right now it's very barren for good games, waiting until April for the release of Devil May Cry HD Collection on PS3
