It's bothering me how Rock Paper Shotgun posted an article about the Kickstarter Dilemma....
and now they've not only posted an article about Republique, but two articles about Republique.
I don't think they have as much sway as they think they do, for example: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/04/26/sherlock-holmes-and-the-case-of-dementia/
Sherlock still failed to reach it's target. There wasn't even a noticeable jump in funding. (if you're looking at kicktraq, I have a chrome add-on that adds funding charts to the kickstarter pages)
It just shows that people will still only fund something if they want to fund something and not because somebody well respected and bathed in a glowing light told them to. In the end it's just a case of getting the word out to people on these projects. Then the people decide. (as it should be)
