So this isn't a game, but my sister is setting up a non-profit library in Iowa City to provide a place for kids to go after school in an under served part of the city. If you would check it out that would be cool, if you donate that would be even better!

Thanks!

That's great. Anything that promotes reading is a-ok :)

Interesting idea, even if somewhat bizarre.

I think a $ 45 pledge will be the Christmas gift for my husband. Seeing all the extras from the stretch goals I think this will be amazing.
(Sadly Fred's Stash is already sold out.)

Yeah it's a pity. They added more slots after the first batch was sold out, but those too were quickly taken within a day or so.

Galcon 2 - sequel to the simple, yet very fun to play Galcon Fusion (demo available).
Potential problem: he decided to go F2P. For $10 you'll get beta access + in game money which might not be "that" tempting to pledge. Worse: everything beyond $10 include some sort of physical goods (shipping).

Hexels - a clever replacement for the Settlers of Catan gameboard. I don't own the game but it looks like a great idea for all who do.
Drake deserves a mention (Fus Oh RAH! ;))

http://www.indiegogo.com/drakewargame

A table top miniatures and card collection based wargame. A fusion of the two which has your caster as a large dragon model, supported with a custom deck of spells and summonable creatures as well as deployable warriors and monsters onto the battlefield.

Think of it a bit like the popular Warmachine games, only with custom magic decks instead of fixed spells and a massive dragon for a warcaster.

Siannah: Hexels - a clever replacement for the Settlers of Catan gameboard...
It's an interesting approach, but the studs on the frames might interfere with the placement of road pieces (which go between tiles). If they included some way of fixing counters/pieces on the tiles (e.g. the numbers, robber, villages, etc ) then they'd have a first-rate offering. They do offer very reasonable rates for international shipping - have they done their sums right here?

A few more projects randomly picked to splurge money on... ;)
PC Games:
Meriwether: An American Epic (Jan 7)
An exploration/historical RPG with resource management and some procedural generation - looks likely to be an interesting combination.
Boardgames:
Battle For Souls (Feb 2)
A game including morality and virtues - could shape up to be the card-game equivalent of the Ultima series.
Technology Manager: Information and Technology Strategy Game (Feb 6)
Work in IT and want a game to remind you how much fun it is? This *may* be just the thing!
Imbrian Arts Miniatures (Dec 27)
Some nice-looking but pricey 32mm miniatures.
Midgard RPG Miniatures (Jan 21)
32mm again, mostly specific to the Midgard game. Pledges include worldwide shipping and seem quite reasonable.

Interesting, an iphone 5 case that doubles as an e-ink reader, and it's fully funded with 38 days to go

Days of Dawn looks nice. I like the sense of wonder they're going for, I'm sick of dark fantasy. The emotion system seems pretty interesting as well.

Also liking the look of Consortium, but they're moving pretty slowly so far. i'm going to be sad if they don't make it.

Oh nice, I was about to ask whether things could get an edit. We're almost at the end with Arcana Agency: The Thief of Memories, and it's good to see it listed up there.

You might include our cross-promotion partner, YOU ARE THE HERO (yes, they felt like capitalizing it):

This is a "history book" about Fighting Fantasy, the classic series of gamebooks that inspired, well, a lot of things including our own project.
