flamableVodka: Hi everybody. So my old man is a big fan of the Dune universe (games and books aswell). He comes back to Dune 2 every 2 years or so but the problem is that this time I can't find it anywhere for him, unless it's the old version whcich requiers dosbox.
MobiusArcher: I thought that that was the only real version. I knew there were remakes and such, but I didn't think any of them were official or anything. It was just easy to get Dune II running natively in windows on everything until Vista.
Dune 2 was a DOS game, but it did get a remake called
Dune 2000, which was windows compatible.

He comes back to Dune 2 every 2 years or so but the problem is that this time I can't find it anywhere for him, unless it's the old version whcich requiers dosbox. I noticed that GoG.com reworked a lot of games to be compatible with all the latest versions of windows (I still play Constructor on win 7) , so I was wondering if I can find Dune 2 that is easy to install and easy to access on this site? Please help me out with this , I would be very gratefull. Cheers
For DOS games, the GOG staff usually just configs DOSBOX in such a way that the game runs well. If you want help getting Dune 2 to run in Dosbox I (or probably quite a few other people here) could help you set up dosbox.
