de_Monteynard: Wait, you don't get to choose the games you want from the Interplay promo? Christ GOG, this is a shitty deal you have going here for people who already own most of the Interplay catalogue, but with no money or interest to buy the whole collection.
Many people have requested over and over again that GOG should introduce bundle pricing from other sites, ie. these bundles where you end up buying the same games several times. You know, they way bundles overlap in HiB, Steam, GamersGate etc.?
Well, they got what they asked for. Me, I personally prefer the old kind, non-overlapping, GOG bundles where you never end up paying for same games several times. But at least GOG will apparently give you gift codes for the games in the bundle that you have already, something that Humble Store or Steam does not do. That's at least a bit of consolation.
For me the most interesting thing was the Giana Sisters game, just because I liked the original on Amiga. And in a way I like GOG extending to Mac, even if I don't personally benefit from it.
Oh yeah and that adventure editor? Neato? I guess, I didn't look all of it.
But the good news is that at least they didn't change anything to the worse, like introducing some mandatory downloader/game launcher, or introduce DRM, or anything like that. That's always a relief. :)
