cheesetruncheon: Yeah, one of my other friends has some Eldar but we haven''t played yet, i'm interested in seeing how well I fare against him.
Be very afraid of War Walkers and Swooping Hawks. Scatter lasers fire 6 s3 shots, which can be painful to Hormies. Swooping Hawks can drop frag grenades with blast markers. Nid players hate blast markers.

He's based his army, on the way he played DoW2 so he's got alot of troops, he 'doesn't like' Jetbikes, he has one War Walker and a wraithguard i believe.

EDIT: wraithlord sorry

Enjoy destroying him then. The table top game requires a lot of thought, much more than any of the games. Quite frankly if I was playing Eldar it would be a line of Guardians with Shuriken Platforms, 9 War Walkers, A Farseer and Seer council surrounded by Wraithguard and Dire Avengers, Swooping Hawks and Jetbikes, lots of Jetbikes.

Yeah he's kind of a dumbass, I was telling him he should at least look into jetbikes but you know how some people are.

Aside from the Twin-Linked Shuriken catapults which are ideal against Nids he should have noticed Guardians have T3 and Save 5+. On a Jetbike they have T4 and Save 4+. Toughness 4 can make a massive difference.

I know I personally think jetbikes are awesome, and a lower save and higher toughness are sweet.

The only race I think where Bikes or out of place are Space Marines. They look so silly.
So who's up for a game of Last Stand sometime?

Don't forget that the Eldar jetbikes are allowed a secondary move to pop back into cover as well after firing during the shooting phase. Makes them even harder to deal with.

And been playing 40k and Fantasy for about 14 years now. My current army is Space Wolves.( My first army actually. Still can't find an army I like better than my space vikings.)

cheesetruncheon: so guys I play 'Nids. I'ma eat you all now k? thanks.
Me and the rest of my Dark Angels are heavily armed with bug sprays and fly swatters, COME TRY AND EAT ME MWAHAHAHA!!

I didn't know that tbh, my friend might, but he's a stubborn bastard. The same friend was going to start with spacewolves, but he realised that you couldn't use black reach to add additional Spacewolves (we were gonna split so I had the orks) so he just went purely for eldar.

I will! and you'd probably explode me into pieces.

Tommy Lee Jones style!! Yeah, I'm definitely more like Jones less like Smith, about 4/5 Jones, 1/5 Smith :)

Why not, That's what I used to start rebuilding my army. The only thing that can't be used by a spacewolves player is the rocket launcher. Everything else can be used by wolves. Captain=Wolf Lord or Wolf Guard Battle Leader. Dreadnaught is standard to all the Loyalist chapters. The Tac squad works good as a grey hunter squad minus the rocket launcher.

Space Wolves can use rocket launchers, my local Space Wolves player uses them as his main heavy weapon.

Wolves can use the Rocket launcher, But it can't be taken in a Tactical squad. Only Long Fangs and Wolf Scouts can use it. Wolf Guard can take a cyclone missile launcher if there are at least 5 in the squad and it is in terminator armor.( The wolf taking the cyclone that is) Tactical squads are limited to either Flamers, Meltaguns and Plasmaguns. Those are the only specials Grey Hunters can take.
