xyem: It's perfectly possible for them to agree with what he did, not punish him in any way and revert the topic title.
In fact, it would be perfectly in line with their claim of
Customer Love. There are customers who are indifferent, customers who are against... where are the customers who are specifically
for it? rampancy and.. ?
This is what TET said in that thread. He wouldn't have done the change. So the change was done by Judas. Reverting a change done by a new employee does send the signal "You don't know what you are doing".
So far then, the point does seem to be moot. Is the word ASS in a title so much of a hussle that you just have to see it? Or is it the fact that a
title was changed?
What if the title said "Check out my new vid niggas!". Would you still object to a change of "Check out my new vid homies!", since that is also censorship.
So, I'll ask again, should GOG.com say "We agree that changing the word ass to gluteus maximus was a thing that had to be done", or should they say "Our employee made an error in judgement?", thus dispiriting the employee (by public disciplinary action).
I do believe that Judas did get an earful, but that would have been a private matter, and not something for the forum.
So I'll call out HYPOCRISY on you xyem.
xyem: My issue isn't with JudasIscariot, at all.
Reverting the change done by someone is a blow to that someone's authority, no matter how much or how little authority he has.
Actually, this is what they did, read the first quote
