Lou: No - These usually come in a three disc pack - 1. Blue Ray, 2. Regular DVD, and 3. Digital Copy.
Stuff: First I should say it is against the law to break the DRM . . . BUT . . . it is legal to make a backup copy . . . not sure how they reconcile that so . .
Couple of ways you can go. . .
Get
DVDFab and rip / convert it directly to the desired format you require.
Or
Get
ConvertXtoDVD and convert the .wmv to a DVD and than use DVDFab to convert to the format required.
I had to learn how to make backup copies of my movies because my Oppo upconverter will not upconvert a purchased movie . . . duh? It will upconvert a copy . . . duh again? They build them that way on purpose, I guess to make you buy a Bluray???
Anyway, use it only to make legal backups of movies you own and you should be fine.
Edit: Both programs give you a trial, think its 30 days.
Thanks - I will give these a try - Really annoying when all I want to do is watch my digial copy on my PSP
